Painting Lessons at the Red Canvas
If you are interested in learning to paint, expanding your skills or trying to break a painter's block, I can help. I teach a very loose style that you can apply to your own. Lessons are $30 for two hours (adults) and $20 for one hour for children ages 14 and above. My schedule is flexible so I can work with you to create the perfect time to paint.
The following is a list of materials I use to get started with lessons and can be purchased at: Jerry's Artarama, Michaels, A.C. Moore, and Askew Taylor:
Canvas - 16 x 20
Acrylic Paint - Finity, Golden, Liquitex, Grumbacher, or Matisse
Cadmium Red Light
Cadmium Yellow Light
Cerulean Blue
Dioxazine Purple
Titanium White
Hooker's Green Dark or Jenkins Green
Alizarin Crimson
Brushes - Winsor & Newton Artisan - Brights #2,6,8,14 or
Princeton 6300 FB #2,6,8,10
Any acrylic brushes (brights) in small, medium, and large.
Other - Disposable paper palette or paper plates, paper towels, and wipes
